Let the party season commence! Here at Nora and Luna, we’ve been on the lookout for the best festive fashion pieces, and since it’s the season of giving, we thought we’d share with you our five festive favourites! From luxurious crushed velvet to some novelty Christmas fun, we’ve got you sorted with what to wear this party season. And the cherry on the top? All our festive favourites are handmade by independent designers in the UK. At Nora and Luna, we champion local and ethical fashion, so here is our list of five festive pieces from independent designers.


1      The Lombard Dress by Style Camp, £60

Style Camp is a vintage style women’s clothing collection handmade by designer Lindsey DeVere in the UK. Inspired by the French Riviera, the Style Camp collection injects classic Hollywood glamour with a dose of vibrancy and fun. We’re loving this elegant velvet cocktail dress in teal blue and red – a party show stopper indeed!


2      Curve Earrings by Loela, £22



Handmade and hand-printed in Manchester by fashion graduate Laura Baker, Loela designs offer a unique and playful take on jewellery. We adore these fun geometric earrings which are just the perfect accessory to make any outfit party appropriate.


3      Floral Dress by Plum and Pigeon, £95

Independent label Plum and Pigeon are the master of florals, and this dark button-down is no exception. The vintage-inspired label is based in Manchester and makes traditional florals wearable for the modern woman. The long sleeves and winter colours of this dress are just what we’re looking for season!


4      The English Garden Collection by Cloversoul; £60 (earrings), £100 (necklace)


Cloversoul is an independent company based in the north of England specialising in hand-crafted sterling silver jewellery. The company manifesto aims to reaffirm “the majestic in the mundane”, and has done just that with these delicate festive garland pieces.


5      Earrings by Finest Imaginary; £10 (Pineapples), £10 (Christmas Trees)

Finest Imaginary is the passion project of Yorkshire based web designer Kim Lawler. The independent studio celebrates the vibrancy of modern aesthetics, and whether it’s glitzy pineapples or cute Christmas trees, these designs are sure to bring a smile this season.
