Craft: Vintage Teacup Pincushions
If you need a pincushion for your craft room, then why not try making this simple craft! You can use material instead, if you do not want to crochet.
What you will need:
1. Firstly you will need to crochet a pincushion using your hook and wool. You can find various tutorials online: http://sandra-cherryheart.blogspot.com/2013/01/crocheted-african-flower-pincushion.html or https://www.1dogwoof.com/crochet-cupcake-pincushion-sewing-kit. Use these tutorials as alternatives to fit inside your teacup!
2. Before closing up the bottom of the pincushion, use stuffing to fill this up. You can buy this from most craft shops or alternatively use old tights! Crochet the bottom together before placing in the teacup. Don’t forget to glue!
3. Glue around the edge of the crochet before sticking into the teacup. You can either use a glue gun or super glue if you prefer.
4. Place pins in the crochet, before using in your craft room.
We also sell pincushions in our shop! You can find them all here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NoraandLuna.
