Origami Tags for Original Gift Ideas
It is that time of year again. Attentive gift considerations, bustling shopping malls, money management schemes… It can wrack your brains for weeks coming up with the perfect presents for all of the extended family.
But, there are some simple yet sentimental touches that you can add to your gifts to make your loved ones feel extra special this time of year.
Alongside the bows and ribbon, I decided to make origami tags this year. They proved to be so cute and dynamic, and I could also personalise them to suit the receiver.
Christmas is such a busy time of year, so it calls for crafter’s sins sometimes - I bought my origami instruction book and it came with the ready-made printed paper. It made for professionally finished results but also sped-up the process with everything being handed to me up-front. Also, it was only £2 from ‘The Works,’ so it proved to be a time effective and economically manageable scenario whereby I paid the same price for double the product and of a more considerate quality.
However, if you are feeling adventurous then there are always templates and video tutorials online that you can give a try in true crafter’s spirit (unlike my cheating).
So, for something a little different, seasonal-themed or otherwise, then give these origami tags a try.
